Flying Tobita Sisters
I actually really like this story. I thought that the idea of the Tobita Sisters basically "rebelling" against the thought of always flying and no need for running had influenced the main character to try it was really nice since almost everyone around them didn't take the sisters seriously and were betting whether or not they were going to make it to the end. I wonder how a lot of sports had changed since it doesn't seem like everyone got the ability to fly and just the humans so they wouldn't be able to play soccer, swim, hockey, etc. Also I also wonder how they would fly in the rain since its known that for animals with wings its very hard for them to fly when their wings are wet.
I chase the Monkey and the Monkey flees from me
I thought the title of this story was interesting because it doesn't seem like the main character was chasing the monkey throughout the story. It kinda felt more like she didn't have an option to have the monkey and the monkey kept on trying to leave but she couldn't even tell if the monkey was real or not. It was odd that she couldn't differentiate herself from the monkey.
Mogera Wogura
This story made me realize and think about the negative impacts that humans have on animals. It shows in perspective of a species that had to change their habits due to humans. It also makes me think that humans have a lot more emotions than animals. For other animals it is normal to lose babies and they move on with their lives but for humans it isn't normal to lose babies and if that does happen it would impact the human greatly.
A peddler of Tears
I was really surprised with the dark twist of the story. The love that the main character had for the maestro is super obsessive. I wonder how the members of the bands reacted when they noticed him harming himself for the tears. It makes me think that the members actually didn't really care about the main character since I am assuming they didn't care about his self harm since they kept on using their tears. I also wonder if the obsessive trait come from the many different musicians that were obsessed with main character when they were a child.
My Baby
I thought this story was really sad. But it makes me wonder if the baby was actually taken by Miles. I wonder how the other parents found out that their child was "eaten" by the Miles cause when the main character's baby was stolen it doesn't seem to be actual proof that a creature came and ate the baby. What if someone just stole the baby?
Paprika Jiro
The ending of this story made me confused because the story made it sound like they suddenly became less scary even though they all came in with alot of energy and guns. I am glad that he stood up for his stand in the beginning instead of being afraid just like everyone else.
