"scattered all over the earth"
I really liked that Hiruko created a new language Panska instead of settling down to learning a new lanuguage. She combined all the different languages that she had heard and mushed it into one. Her creating a new language shows how she has adapted to becoming an immigrant she learned to adjust quickly since her language is always changing due to her learning new languages from traveling around different countries. She is saying people are always moving and changing and so can a language. \
"The easy life in Kamusari"
I think it was interesting how quickly Yuki's life changed and how in the beginning he looked at his new life as something that he was forced to live apart of, but as he started staying longer and getting into a schedule he started to become more accustomed to this new weird lifestyle. In the beginning it seemed like he didn't have any goals and plans to do after school, but I wonder if he is learning what he wants to do in the future.
"Memory police"
I thought it was interesting that people started to forget ideas of something instead of the thing actually disappearing. It makes me wonder if losing something by forgetting it forever is worse than losing something physically.
"Hideo Furukawa"
It was interesting how the main character's feelings towards Fukushima was the fact that he wanted to leave it so badly even as a child. But later on he is seen publicily supporting and speaking out about it which shows that you can dislike something while also still feeling connected towards it.
